Put a Stop to Poverty

Unfortunately poverty is the state for the majority of the world’s people and nations. Half the world – nearly 3 billion people – live on less than £1 (around 2 dollars) a day, and 20% of the population in the developed world consume 86% of the world’s goods.

According to UNICEF 30,000 children die every day due to poverty. That’s about 210,000 children each and every week!

In the global context, a few get wealthy while the majority struggle!

Although we cannot directly influence these issues, here at Planet Trash we are trying to do our bit. We source our products responsibly with the aim that it has a positive impact on the lives of the workers making the product..

In the future we will continue to work with our suppliers to ensure that we are ‘putting a stop to poverty’ wherever possible.
